The film “Der Ausbruch – War die Pandemie vermeidbar? / Covid Century – The pandemic preparedness dilemma” is the latest documentary from award winning production company Broadview Pictures.
We were asked to support the topic with a strong Title Design which shows the difficult process of making decisions in an unstable, uncertain environment. Transferring the audience’s expectation away from the virus itself, towards the question, whether the vacuum between scientific preparedness and government leadership can be addressed quickly enough to provide a better response to the next global health crises.
An important project I was honored to contribute the design development and layout of the Opening Credits.

Documentary
“The film is searching for traces back to the source of the coronavirus desease. Where did the virus come from? Who first discovered it? Who first shared the information with scientists outside China?
Who were the scientists who have been trying with all means to make up for the time lost after the virus was discovered?
The film vividly explains the consequences of exponential spread of a disease when time is lost at the beginning. It explores the question of what role the WHO played.”
