Back from Dystopia

Show Opener & Band Editorial

Almost two years after their 10th anniversary the band reload went to the Studio again. Inspired by nearly hitting rock bottom in there band history, ‘Back from Dystopia’ supposed to be the title of the new record and i was asked to visualize what it might look like. Inspired by their way to realize this album the opener should roughly show a way out of the dark. Creating something new and better out of something that was obviously scattered into pieces before.

The main part was to create a concert opener sequence which was shown at the release party on the 30th of November 2013. For realizing the moment of relief after break through the barriers of dystopia we used a DJI Phantom Multicopter drone with an attached Gimbal for capturing outstanding stable aerial footage.

Besides the Opener the whole package included a new band-logo, the album design and some additional stuff.
